RainDance Technologies works with exclusive strategic partners in two types of strategic collaborations:

Validation of partner assays and development of novel techniques – Based on customer requirements, development of proprietary protocols enabling assays that are not possible using conventional fluid handling platforms.

“RDT Inside” – Based on partner specifications, development of dedicated use instrumentation that utilizes NanoReactor technology to increase the functionality or ease of use of a partner’s proprietary application, or create an entirely new technology opportunity commercializing our partner’s intellectual property.

Collaborations are staffed by dedicated development teams supported by RDT’s collaborators under a “Development Agreement” that determines the scope, duration, and cost of work in select application fields:
